The “Nope, They’re Not Going Back to Work” Form.
This section must be filled out by two qualified medical professionals
(yes, in most cases two because one just isn’t convincing enough for most super funds).
Doctors, here’s what we need from them besides their charming handwriting:
- Confirm that the illness or injury is both total and permanent.
Not just a bad Monday or a sore back from a dodgy mattress. We’re talking long term, no comeback kind of stuff. - State that the claimant is unlikely to ever work again in any job they’re reasonably qualified for by education, training or experience.
No loopholes like “but maybe they could start a candle cult on Etsy.” We mean any real world job they’re actually trained for.
Detailed Medical Reports
